The French Archeologists with the help of Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti (May God bless his soul) worked on this extinct animal. Through fossils discovered, it was established by the researchers that this animal was bigger than today's donkey and lesser than horse. It is believed that this Balochitherean animal was wide spread in Balochistan. It went extinct most probably due to severe climatic changes in Balochistan over the past several years.
